This pic reminds me very strongly of the planet Venus. It's atmosphere and surface is violent and relentless with it's storms and poisonous gas. When I look intently on this picture though, it also reflects my inner world. The origin of my own past and how, my life of turmoil almost sufficated me, until I was rescued from my nightmares. The rocky ground reminds me of my unstable life, as the calm water reflects the longings of peace that seems out of reach for me. Over the horizon, the storms passes like giants that threatens to suffocate me, and over shadow me and it seems that there is no hope for escape. This was what my personal world used to look like before I found God. Even, now, my life stands between the hammer and the anvil, sharpening me in every blow, making me stronger so I can in turn help others who faces a similar situation. This picture strongly speaks to me, reminding me of where I came from and how far I have gone in my journey. Indeed, trials builds character, and character produces longevity. When I look to this pic, I can remember where I came out of and where I will go to reach another level in my journey. This is my personal interpretation of what this pic means to me. It is very powerfully expressed, and very inspirational. I am constantly reminded even through this pic, that tough times don't last long, tough people do. Awesome pic well done.
